To align with the Malaysian government’s initiative to enhance the efficiency of pass issuance under the Expatriate Services Division (ESD), the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM) will implement the issuance of ePASS for the following passes, effective 1 March 2025:

Employment Pass Category I, II, and III (New and Renewal)
-
Professional Visit Pass
-
Residence Pass-Talent
-
Dependant Pass
-
Long Term Social Visit Pass
-
Transfer of Endorsement / Take Up Balance
However, the current endorsement process will remain unchanged for passes issued under Public Universities and Government Agencies.
At present, there are no changes to the issuance of i-KAD for applicable passes until further notice.
